Now more than ever, humans are concerned with overall health and well-being. In the midst of a major health crisis, changing to a WFPB (whole foods plant based) diet is one the best things you can do to increase overall health and wellness.
Taking on learning a new skill will give you something to do during quarantine times, and you can stop eating out so often. Over 50% of USD spent on food is spent on eating out- this is a huge amount. If we all learn to cook for ourselves we will cultivate creativity and contentment through knowing how to provide for ourselves- especially in a time of crisis. I know my food shelves are on a roller coaster ride as I try to minimize trips to the store. If you’re tired of the same old puzzles you’ve been working on for years, try out piecing together different elements from your fridge and cupboard to find amazing new plant-based recipes.
Today I’m recommending you always have some oats on hand- they are packed with complex carbohydrates and are so great for so many uses. I’ve been loving overnight oats lately- such an easy meal that just take a bit of prep (overnight). It’s like past you is looking out for future you. :)
